Vuelta por Benifallet

Typical lap that can be done in two hours and that many cyclists in the area usually do. The starting and ending point is the Old Slaughterhouse of Tortosa with about 50 kms.

We will leave the Old Slaughterhouse of Tortosa passing through the Pont de l’Estat and we will go towards 4 Caminos, where we will take the C-12 road in the direction of Jesús. We will continue for about 25 km passing through l’EMD de Jesús, Aldover or Xerta, once we have crossed the river, go back downstream on the other side towards Benifallet. This first part has some short climbs that break the rhythm. We pass through Benifallet and head towards the Coll de Som, a climb of about 4 km and about 150 meters of unevenness. From the top we have beautiful views of the Ebro valley. After the descent we will head along the road towards Tortosa, passing through Tivenys and Bitem. This section is flat during the 14 km that we have left to Tortosa.
